KRISTEN MIKAYLA
Kristen Louder is a 24-year-old passionate movement artist, teacher, and creative visionary. A Florida native, she discovered her calling in dance at an early age and went on to earn her BFA in Dance from the University of Florida. Her journey has taken her from National Clogging Championships to modern, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary practices, showcasing her versatility and commitment to growth.
During her undergraduate studies, Kristen blossomed into a choreographer and community leader, creating spaces for her love of hip hop through dance films and workshops. Her work bridges technical mastery with storytelling, inspiring dancers to express their authentic selves. Now based in Atlanta, she continues to travel and choreograph, bringing her passion and energy to dancers across the globe.
Kristen is the founder and director of I AM, a house of creativity rooted in movement, faith, and community. Through I AM, she provides weekly dance classes, workshops, and intensives, as well as opportunities for artists to collaborate and grow. The brand fosters a safe, inspiring space where dancers and creatives can develop their craft, pursue their passions, and find purpose.
As a creative director, Kristen brings ideas to life, curating projects that blend her skills in choreography and content creation. Her work has a strong foundation in the Christian hip hop community, where she has collaborated with artists like Anike (formerly Wande), Ceo Aaliyah, Rez Lyirz, and GLO. Beyond this realm, Kristen is committed to developing and elevating artists from all backgrounds, offering opportunities for growth, collaboration, and creative expression that extend across the wider dance and entertainment industry.
